Future Plans

Today I thought I would post a bit about some of my future plans for this blog, recolors, and things I'd like to learn to do in The Sims 4.  I started doing recolors for myself because I have a slightly older PC and I have satellite internet, and with that combination I find it hard to keep up with the newest CC creators and Sims 4 DLC. I typically only play with a few packs enabled at a time, if any at all.

One of the projects I definitely would like to focus on is my BASICZ project, which is to recolor base game clothing in a set of color palettes and patterns that I like and think I could use for Sims of many genders, ethnicities, religions, sexualities, etc.  I just uploaded the second half of the infants collection for BASICZ and am almost finished with the toddlers collection as well. I will also be doing a kids, teens, men's, women's, and elders collection.

I would also like to do some holiday themed clothing, some formal-focused sets, and maybe even some recolors from a few packs that I do use often like Seasons, Growing Together, and Parenthood.

I plan on doing some recolors for build / buy mode, too. I made a few wallpapers for my current gameplay family and may share them at a later date.  I would like to do some recolors for the base game beds, because I personally don't like using the separated bed frames and mattresses.

My most ambitious goal however, is to learn how to create jewelry in Blender and to create some more kid-oriented jewelry. I struggle to find jewelry for kids on CC finds blogs, Pinterest, and sites like ModTheSims and The Sims Resource. Sometimes you can find earrings that aren't too bad, but I rarely find necklaces or bracelets that I would use for my child Sims, so I would love to learn how to make some more kid-friendly options.

All and all, I have lots of ideas and goals. I hope you'll stick around with me and see what I come up with as time goes on. Thanks for visiting my blog, and I hope you have a good day!
